Experienced marine carpenter, composite technician, Spar Builder seeks position (posted 23 Jan 2012)

Adriano Mazzarini - I am a marine carpenter, a composite technician, a Spar Builder who has worked in small all-rounder teams of 3 or 4 as well as in larger contexts, in the boom lamination as well as mast/spreaders assembling departments of large boatyards.

I have been in the boating industry since 1997 working mostly with the long–established and experienced project managers Trimarine (http://www.trimarine.com/team.php) on challenging and interesting projects, such as Mascalzone Latino XI, which brought me to New Zealand for the America’s Cup Challenge in 2003.

In Auckland where I have settled and have a young family, I have also accrued New Zealand experience, working with Marten Spars and with Southern Spars, until crisis in the industry and opportunities arising in Europe brought me to accept a Trimarine project in Paris and Lisbon, where I have been working until recently. However, because of family commitments I am back in Auckland.

Design position in Auckland wanted (posted 17 November 2011)

Daryl Osborne has 30 years in the furniture industry, gaining vast experience in manufacture, designing, restoration, carving, veneering, interior design and project management. He enjoyed a stint in Australia with Warren Yachts and really enjoyed this time and would love to concentrate more on the designing side. Daryl is a family man who would love to move up to Auckland from Napier to start a new life. A pleasant nature, well groomed and very good customer relation skills.

US college graduate seeks NZ crewing position (posted 26 August 2011)
My name is Hunter Pattridge. I will be traveling to New Zealand at the end of October. I am a college Graduate and I am looking to spend time on the ocean working in the Sailing industry. I am available to work with sailboats, or even work with customers. I majored in marketing and can provide a positive experience to any position.
I have been sailing catamarans my whole life; I learned to sail from my father who spent 14 months racing sailboats all over the world. I have spent every summer on the water using power boats, jet skies and Hobie 14, 16's. I have also had the opportunity to sail on mono hull in the Puget Sound in the Pacific. I have also sailed Hobies off the coast of the Turks and Caico's islands. I can adapt to any vessel on the water in a short period of time.
