Dickson Marine Refits is a busy boat building and refit yard based in sunny Nelson.

We have an eye on our succession plan here as the longstanding incumbent of this vital position in our organisation is due to retire end of 2012.  The job is about sales and marketing generally, and pricing and client liaison, in particular.  We are looking now for the right person as we realise it may take a while to groom someone to take over the role.

The position would suit a boatbuilder who has either been in this role with another  boatbuilding company or someone  who is ready to make the move from active boatbuilding to the varied and challenging role of bringing in the business, during the next four to six months or so.

You will need extensive knowledge and experience of boatbuilding, a winning way with clients and the ability to work well as part of a team.  Excellent computer skills are essential as is the ability to deliver great customer service.

If this position could be of interest to you and you would like to discuss it further or submit an application, contact:
