Waterproof iPad case ideal for boaties

Scanstrut’s new snug-fitting, completely Waterproof iPad Case is now available in New Zealand through Lusty and Blundell Ltd.

The case is the ideal accessory for boat owners who use their iPads on board in conjunction with modern electronics’ systems (such as Raymarine’s popular new e7) or to view engine controls, play music, surf the web or check emails.

Unlike other iPad covers, the Scanstrut Waterproof iPad Case is tight fitting, allowing boaties to use all of the iPad’s renowned features including the touchcreen, front and rear cameras and the on/off and home buttons.



Measuring just 22mm, the waterproof iPad case has an IP67 rating, meaning it can be totally submersed without letting in any water. The case is also buoyant (meaning it will float if dropped overboard) and has an ergonomically designed marine grade hand strap suitable for both left and right handers.

The Scanstrut Waterproof iPad Case also comes with an optional compact mount and lanyard and is available in four fashion colours: charcoal grey, pink, green and blue.
