Raymarine’s clever new Ray70 VHF is an all-in-one communications and safety solution with built-in AIS Receiver, 72-channel GPS and a smart 25w loud hailer.
The Ray70’s 72-channel GPS receiver ensures there will always be a position fix for emergency calls while its integral Automatic Identification System (AIS) receiver eliminates the need for a separate AIS and delivers critical vessel traffic information straight to compatible multi-function displays.
The built-in loud hailer comes with handy listen-back capability, making it simple to interact with crew on deck, on the dock or with nearby vessels. Connected to Raymarine’s optional weatherproof hailing horn, it can also be used to generate the required signals for vessels underway or at anchor in fog.
The powerful 25w Ray70 VHF comes complete with oversized LCD display for easier viewing, a detachable fist-mic with built-in controls and mic relocation capability and a detachable gunmetal silver bezel (or optional black bezel). With optional handset, it is also dual-station and intercom capable.
Other features include Hi/Lo power selection, dual-watch, tri-watch, channel scanning and Digital Selective Calling.
