Rayglass Boats, New Zealand’s most successful GRP production boatbuilder, has appointed Queensland Marine Centre as their new Australian dealer.
Sales and marketing manager Scott Little says Rayglass is delighted to have the impressive Gold Coast-based dealer on board. “We have been looking for a high quality Australian agent for some time,” he says. “And Queensland Marine Centre is perfect.”
He says Queensland Marine Centre, which is in the busy Gold Coast town of Southport, boasts a 2500 square metre indoor showroom, easy access to the nearby marina and a top class Mercury and Mercruiser service centre.
“Just as importantly, Queensland Marine Centre owners Andrew and Olivia Bennett are great operators, share the same business values we do and are used to selling top end boats like Rayglass.”
Having just taken delivery of his first two Rayglass boats (a Legend 2200 and a Legend 2350) Andrew Bennett is also very excited.
“We, too, have spent a considerable amount time looking for a high quality brand of 6-7m GRP powerboats,” he says. “We looked in the US, in Australia and in New Zealand and we are confident that Rayglass has the very best quality build and finish.”
Andrew Bennett believes his customers will also love the Rayglass’s versatility.
“Both these models will enable the owner to go fishing offshore with their mates one day and then family cruising, skiing and tubing inshore the next.”
Queensland Marine Centre, which also stocks Sea Ray, Boston Whaler and Mastercraft, will officially release the Rayglass 2200 and 2350 at the Brisbane Boat Show in September.
“We have also already had great inquiry on a Rayglass 2500 so hopefully this is just the beginning,” he says.
