Raymarine’s new aSeries 9 and 12 inch multifunction touch displays combine tablet-like touch screen ease of use (including multi-touch and pinch-to-zoom) with super-fast, fluid navigation; multi-sonar capability; easy video and thermal night vision integration; and an exceptionally affordable price tag.
Powered by the latest version of Raymarine’s popular Lighthouse II user interface, the new aSeries features a powerful dual core processor and a 50-channel 10Hz internal GPS for ultra-quick updating and vessel tracking. It is also the only large format touchscreen with built-in award-winning CHIRP Sonar and CHIRP Downvision.
With an exceptionally affordable price tag, a smaller footprint than HybridTouch models and easy installation, the compact new aSeries models are perfect for mid to larger sized trailer powerboats, launches and keelers.
“These new aSeries models are almost unbelievably versatile,” says Mark Milburn, CEO of Raymarine’s New Zealand distributor, Lusty and Blundell Ltd.
“With just a couple of touches, fishers can literally create their own sonar control centre, with multiple independent digital, CHIRP and CHIRP DownVision sonar channels running at the same time, providing the ultimate in underwater intelligence!
“Users can also view analogue and thermal night vision images on the screen, bring up engine and fuel management information (including Distance to Empty and fuel range rings overlaid on their navigation charts) and effortlessly link their aSeries to their smartphones or tablets.”
Raymarine’s new aSeries models are now available through Lusty and Blundell’s three showrooms in Auckland, Whangarei and Tauranga and through their nationwide network of leading marine dealers.
