Following an extensive R&D programme Sea Vision, the pioneers of underwater lighting technology, has released the first of their new range of high output LED underwater lights.
The new Sea Vision SV54 is a compact single LED surface-mount light designed primarily for smaller boats. Featuring a high powered LED in a bronze/nylon housing, the SV54 is ideal for surface mounting on boats with limited interior access.
It has a light output of 250 Lumens, a colour temp of 6500 Kelvin and its convex lens is made from a durable borosilicate glass designed to cope with the harsh marine environment. The SV54’s LED light has a life expectancy of around 30,000 hours and there is a choice of four output colours: white, blue, green or red.
The Sea Vision SV55 is a surface mounted underwater light that features 12 of the latest high-powered LEDs. Ideal for trailer boats, the SV55 boasts a rugged bronze and nylon design and is also suitable for any boats where a through-hull design is not practical because of access or space restrictions.
With a super bright light output of 3744 Lumens and a colour temp of 6500 Kelvin, this very impressive high output LED is just 100mm wide. It also has a life expectancy of 30,000 hours and is available in two output colours: white and blue. A colour-changing version will also be available in the near future.
Both the SV54 and the SV55 are now available nationwide through Lusty and Blundell’s nationwide network of leading marine dealers. The new LED underwater lights are also on display in Lusty and Blundell’s Auckland showroom room, along with a range of other LED lights from Hella Marine; a complete electrical product range from Blue Sea Systems, CTEK, Victron and SunWare; and Lusty & Blundell’s own range of electrical cable and consumables.
