Navionics’ new SonarChartsTM will become a tool of choice for both casual and serious recreational fishers. High Definition bathymetry maps of the seafloor, SonarCharts provide extraordinarily detailed information about bottom contours, helping fishers increase their understanding of shallow areas and helping them better locate fish in all depths.
They are also being constantly updated. Users are encouraged to upload their sonar logs and Navionics then integrates this information into their latest, downloadable, SonarCharts.
“A key component to successful fishing is understanding the underwater terrain,” says Mark Milburn, CEO of New Zealand Navionics distributor, Lusty and Blundell Ltd. “These new SonarCharts give fishers a far better and more educated starting point when searching for new fishing spots.
“That means they save time, fuel and money. And they get to enjoy their fishing more and enjoy it sooner!”
While an increasing number of boat owners are already using Navionics Bathymetry Fishing Charts, the new SonarCharts are substantially more detailed.
“Because most major electronics brands now enable their users to upload their sonar logs, the potential number of contributors is very large,” says Mark Milburn. “This means these new Navionics SonarCharts will be constantly updated and enhanced, making it even easier for boaties to understand the world beneath their hulls.”
The new Navionics SonarCharts are available now through Lusty & Blundell’s nationwide network of leading marine dealers.
