South Pacific Diesel Systems is the New Zealand and Pacific Island Distributor of SCANIA Industrial and Marine Diesel Engines.

We have been supplying diesel engines to the marine industry for over 20 years, and today SCANIA engines have built up an excellent reputation for reliability, long service like and low fuel consumption.

Currently SCANIA produces 3 basic models of engine, with displacements of 9, 12 and 16 liters. Power Outputs range from 210 horsepower through to 800 horsepower.

SCANIA engines can today be found in all types of marine applications including passenger ferries, fishing vessels, patrol and pilot vessels, mussel harvester’s as well as lighter pleasure craft applications.
