Kennedy Point Boatharbour Limited along with a specialist team of advisors and experts are currently refining the design of a new 200 berth marina planned for Kennedy Point in Putiki Bay, Waiheke. This draft plan will be available for community consultation in the near future. Kennedy Point is an ideal site as it is currently a modified coastline, and is deemed suitable for commercial use. It is located next to the wharf structure that Sealink ferry uses for the Island’s Car ferry.

The new marina will incorporate public-use berths for boat maintenance, as well as short-term berths for small pleasure boats so boating families from around the Hauraki Gulf can get ashore safely and enjoy the island.
