Congratulations to NZ Marine Export Group member Southern Spars for its nomination for the Synapse integrated sensor: Synapse delivers real-time load data for your yacht’s rig, greatly enhancing safety and performance. Our cutting-edge Synapse technology incorporates integrated load cells for the standing rigging interface, resulting in reliable calibration and streamlining the monitoring process.
Congratulations also to Zerojet for its nomination for the ZeroJet Electric Jet Propulsion System (ZJ Gen2) : A plug & play electric jet solution for small boats which provides a compact & high performing 48V water jet alternative to combustion engines. It includes a bespoke jet pump designed for maximum efficiency at low and high speeds & our own small & light 15kW electric motor. The system provides faster acceleration, easier manoeuvrability, & a lower profile than comparable electric outboard motors.
The winners for each of this year’s eight new DAME categories will be selected from a group of 53 nominations. One of those winners will go on to be named as the recipient of the overall DAME Award. The jury also confirmed it will name a discretionary Environmental Design Award winner for the second year in succession.
Winners of the DAME Design Awards 2023 will be announced at the METSTRADE breakfast briefing in the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre on 15 November, following a keynote speech by Sanlorenzo’s legendary CEO, Massimo Perotti.
