World famous Kiwi fisherman Matt Watson is set to play a starring role at next year’s Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show in Auckland in May.
The host of television’s top-rating ITM Fishing Show will give daily talks, share his experiences and interact with members of the public throughout the four-day show.
As part of the boat show’s 60th will create a special ITM Fishing Show Experience in the large area next to the Hutchwilco stand. In this area, show goers will be able to talk with and listen to Matt, see videos of Matt in action, talk to representatives of fishing advocacy group, Legasea and enter a special competition created just for the show.
“We want people to come to the show and tell us what they would like to see on future episodes of the ITM Fishing Show,” says Watson.
“We are looking for something really new and different to all the exciting things we have already done, so it will definitely be a challenge. However, if we do find an idea we like, the person who submitted it will be invited to come along and be a part of the show when we film it.”
Only those ideas submitted on the special competition forms in the Matt Watson’s ITM Fishing Show Experience area at the show will be eligible for the prize.
Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show will be held at the ASB The 60th Showgrounds in Greenlane, Auckland on May 14-17. Ticket vouchers to the show are now on sale on line at Boatshow.co.nz and are ideal as Christmas presents.
