MAST welcomes pre-trades students at new campus

MAST Academy has reached an exciting milestone with the launch of its first campus-based training. Recently, the first cohort of students came together to begin A Taste of Marine Trades, a hands-on introduction to the marine industries.Led by Tyler Taua-Gordon of Te Kawerau Iwi Tiaki Trust, the day began with a karakia whakawātea (blessing ceremony). Nautical Group Holdings Limited acquires Railblaza & NTD Plastics Limited

On 30 September 2021, Ross Pratt & Oriens Capital Fund 2 LP completed the acquisition of Nautical Group Holdings Limited (NGH), a New Zealand entity that has acquired 100% of the shares of Railblaza Limited and NTD Plastics Limited.  The directors of the board of NGH are Ross Pratt, Railblaza founder and continuing shareholder of NGH, Peter Tinholt of Oriens Capital and Nigel Jeffries as co-investor with Oriens Capital and chairman. Coastguard Nelson wins prestigious international accolade at IMRF Awards

Coastguard Nelson have been announced as winners at the International Maritime Rescue Federation (IMRF) Awards announced overnight – receiving the award for Outstanding Team Contribution to Maritime SAR Operations. The IMRF Awards recognise search and rescue (SAR) professionals around the world for their outstanding actions, skills, expertise and commitment to SAR activities.
